I believe in matter and the quiet energy it holds, its growing, evolving and eroding, ever-changing, yet always being alive. I believe that sculpture, which is merely a manipulation of this matter, must be nothing other than itself. Some of these bronzes are more abstract than others, yet all are born from the urge to create tactile "living" forms which might evoke a visceral or emotional response in the observer.
